My dears, I am so excited to announce today the second Nitiknitti knitting retreat at the beautiful Landhotel Voshövel on the Lower Rhine!
The premiere in May 2025 was so wonderful that we at the NK team were immediately certain that we wanted to make this event a permanent and recurring date in our event calendar!
Thanks to the fantastic organization and help of our Birgit ( Instagram: birgit.strickt ), we have the most beautiful location imaginable for a knitting weekend. An entire cabin to ourselves, the best culinary offerings, lovely rooms, and an on-site wellness area for which the country hotel has already been awarded the title of Leading Spa Resort.

We have agreed the following with the hotel:
We will provide a booking link from the hotel, which we will share in our Instagram story on January 12th at 6:00 PM. Inquiries will only be accepted via this link!
This information is very important and must be taken into account. The hotel was completely overwhelmed last time and wants to be well-organized this time.
Very important: You are not booking through us. Your participation is only binding once you have booked a room via the link we shared and the hotel has confirmed your stay. We do not allocate seats or sell tickets for this event.
Participation is only possible with a room reservation. There are no day tickets. The hotel manages the number of rooms, and I will only find out who will be attending after booking confirmation.
Not only will my Nitiknitti team and I be there to welcome you on Friday afternoon, but I am also especially pleased that Clarissa Schellong – well known to many of you from Instagram – will be joining us. – will also be there!
Clarissa stands for minimalist, clean lines with a focus on comfort and wearability. Natural color palettes, visible stitches, textured surfaces, simple techniques that rely on the natural feel of the materials, and relaxed fits. In short: Clarissa's "Cozy Knits" represent calm, modern, and comfortable knitwear. It is an honor that Clarissa will be joining us this weekend with her expertise and experience, offering advice and tips to our participants.
What you can expect:
Friday, May 29th :
Individual arrival until 3:00 pm (rooms will then be available)
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: We move into the Ernst-August-Hütte. This rustic hut is available to us the entire time; we can store our belongings there and meet up whenever we like.
6:30 p.m. Reception and get-together
7:00 PM Dinner together
Saturday, May 30th :
Individual breakfast time
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Knitting at the Ernst-August-Hütte . Our motto this weekend: Everyone can do what they like . That means we don't want to follow a rigid program, but we will inform you the evening before. most important topics and wishes gather these points and discuss them individually.
We'll bring a selection of yarns and patterns so you can spontaneously start a new knitting project on site. If you'd like us to bring something specific for you, please let us know once your booking is confirmed.
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Light Lunch
2:00 PM – 6:00 PM Back to the cabin – weather permitting, the outdoor area with lounge furniture is also available. Those who wish to explore the cabin or the surrounding area, or prefer a nap, are welcome to do so, and we will then meet again at the Ernst-August-Hütte for a conversation/interview with Clarissa about her personal journey as a knitwear designer.
Coffee, tea, water, cake and nuts are included.

Sunday, May 31st:
individual breakfast time
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Knitting in the Ernst-August-Hütte
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Light Lunch , followed by farewells and individual departures
