addi Express King Size - Bundle

Now it’s time to get to the crank!

We Nitiknittis are in the mood to knit with the addi Express Kingsize and have already made several great scarves on the addi's large knitting stitch in the last few days!

In 2-3 hours, you'll have a perfect result and a tube scarf in no time at all, over 2 meters long, made from, for example, 2-ply Mohair Luxe ! The combination with sequins is also dreamy and can even be worn as an evening scarf on any dance floor. Check out the photos of Niti's results on Instagram . In this bundle you get the large machine with 46 stitches and the take-off needle and the lifting hook as useful auxiliary needles.

For the light blue scarf I knitted 4x Pearl Mohair Sky (2 strands) and 4x Paillettes Light Blue - so a total of 3 strands.

For the green scarf: this is also done with 3 strands and you will need: 6x Mohair Luxe Apple Green plus 4x Paillettes Multicolor.

The pink/purple scarf: a total of 8 balls of Mohair Luxe in four colors and knit this scarf with 2 strands.

Please always pay attention to the thread tension and hold the thread slightly taut with your hand. ALWAYS ONLY CRANK FORWARD!! Otherwise the stitches will slip off the needles. I turn the first 3 rounds with a stitch holder/contrast thread . I then loosen this thread after I have finished the knitting, after I have placed the stitches from my main yarn onto a needle and knit them together to close the loop. At the end of the crank work, I leave about a meter of yarn hanging. I then need this to knit the second side together. At the end, I do not use a contrasting thread, but slip the stitches with the hook or take-off needle.

Generally speaking: first, use yarn from your stash that you no longer need, and get familiar with the machine, as it takes a bit of practice to get the hang of it! And it does, once you get the hang of it – I have so much fun with it and I'm thrilled with the perfect results. I can't get enough and have countless other scarf variations in mind.
