The April Cardigan has a V-neck and is knitted top down. The yoke is constructed so that the shoulder increases are worked first, back and forth. Then, the increases for the sleeves are made, and finally, a section with classic raglan increases is worked. At the same time, increases are made along both front edges to create the V-neck. The sleeves are knitted in the round using double-pointed needles or using the magic loop method. Finally, stitches are picked up along the front edges, at the shoulders, and at the neck, and the button plackets are worked in rib. The April Cardigan should have a positive ease of movement of approximately 6-8 cm in relation to your chest measurement. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL fit a chest measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are on the front (note that these measurements only apply if the gauge is adhered to). Measure yourself before you start knitting to find the size that fits you best. If your chest measurement is 90 cm (or the widest part of your torso), you should choose size S. A size cardigan is suitable for a chest measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. S has a chest circumference of 97 cm and in this case would have a range of motion (positive ease) of 7 cm.
