Curly Cotton is a unique, exciting, and incredibly lightweight bouclé yarn, primarily made from cotton and silk, and features a beautiful, distinctive texture.

Gauge: 16–20 stitches = 10 cm

The special spinning process and the fine balance of cotton, silk, and a hint of extra-fine merino wool create a yarn that is soft, flexible, and gentle on the skin – and at the same time wonderfully easy to knit with. Stitches glide smoothly on the needles, and the texture naturally comes to life without effort.

The lightness of the yarn makes it ideal for garments you’ll reach for again and again – without ever feeling heavy. Curly Cotton creates knitwear with a beautiful drape that maintains its shape while retaining a relaxed and lively look. Lightness also means having few balls of yarn for a project.

Curly Cotton can be worked with various needle sizes, allowing you to design the final look exactly as you wish. For a more structured, slightly Chanel-inspired jacket, use a 3.5 mm needle. For a more relaxed, loose-fitting sweater, try a 4.5 mm needle.

The distinctive bouclé and tweed texture adds depth and interest to even simple designs. It's also great for combining with a companion yarn such as Mohair Luxe, Cashmere Dreams, Cashmere Prime, or Pearl Mohair if you want extra softness or a fuller fabric.

If you knit with a companion strand, use needles 4–6 mm.
A companion strand is also a nice way to subtly change or tone the color of your project.
