December Bow - PetiteKnit knitting pattern

The December Bow is worked in one piece in rows with I-cord edges from tip to tip. The work is folded into a bow and sewn together. A leather strap is attached to the back of the bow for hanging.

If you want to wear the bow in your hair instead, you can knit it on 3 mm needles with thinner yarn and then sew a 6 cm hair clip onto the back of the bow.

Size: one size

Gauge: 22 stitches x 42 rows stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Recommended needles: Circular knitting needle 3.5 mm (60 cm), Circular knitting needle 3 mm (60 cm)

Materials: Suggestion 1: approx. 29 g Pernilla by Filcolana (50 g = 175 m) together with approx. 11 g Soft Silk Mohair by Knitting for Olive (25 g = 225 g)

Suggestion 2: approx. 44 g Alpaca from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 110 m)

Leather strap: 24 x 0.5 cm
