Eva Cardigan - PetiteKnit knitting pattern

The Eva Cardigan is worked from the top down. First, the upper part of the back is increased. Then, stitches are picked up along the back for the shoulders. Stitches are then picked up along the shoulders, and the rest of the yoke is gathered on circular needles, while increases are also made on the front for the V-neck. The body is worked in rows on circular needles, and the sleeves are worked in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up along the front edge and the wide band is worked in double rib.

Size guide

The Eva Cardigan should have a positive ease of approximately 26 cm in the smaller sizes and a gradually smaller ease in the larger sizes. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) fit a chest measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished cardigan can be found on the front page. Note: These measurements are only valid if the gauge is adhered to. Measure yourself first before you start knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your chest (or widest part of your body) measures 90 cm, you should choose size S. A size S cardigan has a chest circumference of 116 cm and, in this case, would have a positive ease of 26 cm.
