The jacket is knitted from the top down. First, cast on stitches for the back piece. The back piece is knitted up to the sleeves. Then, stitches are cast on along each shoulder for the right and left sides of the front piece. Stitches are increased for the V-neck, and each front piece is knitted back and forth up to the sleeves.
