Facile Sweater - Knitting Pattern Sandnes

The sweater is knitted from the top down with a double strand. First, stitches are cast on for the back. The back is knitted up to under the sleeves. Then, stitches are picked up along each shoulder for the right and left sides of the front. Stitches are increased for the V-neck before the right and left sides of the front are joined to form a single front piece. The front is knitted back and forth up to under the sleeves, before the work is joined and continued in the round to the full length. Stitches are picked up around each armhole for the sleeves. The sleeves are knitted in the round, and decreases are made at the end for narrower sleeves. Finish with stockinette stitch with ribbing or continue in stockinette stitch at the bottom of the sleeves and front and back.
