The Friday Slipover is worked from the top down in a broken rib pattern. First, the back is made, then the shoulders and front, and finally the body. Ribbed edgings are worked along the neckline and around the armholes.

First, knit a swatch before you begin knitting. Please note that the broken rib pattern will stretch further after washing/wearing. Therefore, you should expect the swatch to measure approximately 24-25 stitches per 10 cm before washing/wearing, but 22 stitches per 10 cm after washing/wearing. For the shoulder width and fit, it is extremely important to adhere to the exact gauge. Therefore, wash your swatch before measuring.

Size guide

The Friday Slipover should have a positive ease of approximately 6 cm relative to your bust circumference. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. Measure yourself before you start knitting to ensure you have chosen the correct size for you. For example, if your bust circumference (or the widest part of your torso) measures 90 cm, you should choose size S, as the bust circumference for this size is 96 cm.
