The Holiday Pullover is a chunky knit pullover with a deep armhole, worked top down in stockinette stitch. The back is worked first, then the shoulders and front, and finally the body. A two-part ribbed edge is knitted at the bottom of the body, with the edge longer on the back than on the front. Finally, ribbing is knitted along the neckline and around the armholes, which are cast off using the Italian method, as this produces the neatest finish.

Before you begin knitting, make a gauge swatch. Remember to knit with three strands at a time (two strands of the thicker yarn, one strand of silk mohair).

Size guide

The Holiday pullover should have a positive ease of approximately 6 cm in relation to your chest measurement. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL fit a chest measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. Measure yourself before you start knitting to make sure you've chosen the correct size. For example, if your chest measurement is 90 cm (or the widest part of your torso), you should choose size S, as the chest measurement would be 96 cm.

If you want a slightly oversized pullover, you can knit one size larger than usual.
