The Jenny Blouse is worked from the top down. First, the back is worked in smock stitch in rows with short rows. Then stitches are picked up along the top of the back for the shoulders. The body is worked in the round on a circular needle. The sleeves are also worked in smock stitch in the round. The pattern includes instructions for sleeves with and without decreases. Finally, stitches are picked up and worked for a folded neckband.

First, knit a swatch to determine the needle size that gives you the correct gauge. Wash and block it before measuring.

Size Guide

The Jenny Blouse is designed to have approximately 8 cm of positive ease compared to your bust circumference. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) are designed to fit a body bust circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The finished garment measurements can be found on the first page. Measure yourself before you begin knitting to determine which size will fit you best. If your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 94 cm, you should choose size M. A size M blouse has a bust circumference of 102 cm, which would give you 8 cm of positive ease.
