The North Sea Set consists of a hat and a scarf. The hat has a wide folded brim in a rib pattern and a stockinette stitch crown. The scarf is knitted as a long tube and then sewn together at both ends – this way, the scarf has no front or back.

Sizes: The hat fits a head circumference of 54-58 cm. The scarf is approx. 2 m long and 23 cm wide.

Gauge: Hat: 23 stitches x 32 rows in stockinette stitch with double yarn on 3 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Scarf: 28 stitches x 38 rows in stockinette stitch with single yarn on 3 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Suggested needles: Circular knitting needles 3 mm (40 cm), DPNs 3 mm

Material: Sunday by Sandnes Garn (50 g = 235 m) or Arwetta by Filcolana (50 g = 210 m)

For the hat: approx. 80 g yarn

For the scarf: 300 g yarn
