The Oslo Sweater is knitted top down. First, the back is worked in rows on circular needles, initially with increases on both sides and then straight down. Next, stitches are cast on for the shoulders. These are worked separately before being gathered on one needle for the front. The front and back are joined in the round under the armholes to form the body, which is then knitted in the round with decreases on circular needles. The sleeves and neckline are worked last using cast-on stitches.

Size Guide

The Oslo Sweater should have a positive ease of approximately 20-25 cm in relation to your chest measurement. The cut is oversized. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL fit a chest measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are on the front. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your chest measurement (or the widest part of your body) measures 88 cm, you should choose size S. A size S sweater has a chest measurement of 110 cm and in this case would have a positive ease of 22 cm.
