Peer Gynt has been on the market since 1938. Its special structure makes the yarn ideal for knitting sweaters. Peer Gynt is as popular today as it was then. Clothes made from Norwegian wool feel light and warm, becoming even softer with each wear. Norwegian wool is durable and pill-resistant. This ensures that garments always look good and retain their shape for a long time. Be considerate to the environment: Wool is breathable and rarely needs washing. Instead, we recommend airing the garment well. Clothes made from Norwegian wool are long-lasting. They retain their beauty even for generations to come. This means that Norwegian wool contributes to sustainable consumption.
For machine washing, we recommend washing all wool items separately using the wool cycle to treat them as gently as possible. Spin gently and dry the garment flat, preferably on a towel. Never wash hand-knitted items in a mesh laundry bag. This creates friction, which can cause the item to felt.
