The Stockholm V-neck pullover is knitted top-down with a V-neck. First, the back, then the shoulders, and finally the body. The shoulder slope of the Stockholm V-neck pullover is worked using short rows, ensuring a perfect fit. Finally, cuff edges are knitted along the V-neck and around the armholes, which are cast off using the Italian method.
Make a gauge swatch first before you start knitting – an accurate gauge swatch is extremely important for shoulder width.
Size guide
The Stockholm V-neck pullover should have approximately 5 cm of positive ease in relation to your chest measurement (i.e., the pullover should be 5 cm wider than your circumference). Measure your own chest measurement, while the pullover's chest measurement is indicated on the front of the pattern. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a chest measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm.
Measure yourself before you start knitting to make sure you've chosen the correct size. For example, if your chest measures 90 cm (or the widest part of your torso), you should choose size S, as the chest circumference there measures 95 cm. This gives you 5 cm of freedom of movement.
