The Wave Tee is worked from top to bottom in one piece with a boat neck. Short rows are used at the neckline to create a higher back. On the yoke, sleeve increases are worked first, followed by raglan increases. The body is worked in the round in stockinette stitch. The sleeves are also worked in the round in stockinette stitch and can be knitted either short or long.

Please note that the recommended yarn will stretch with washing/wearing. Therefore, you should expect a gauge of approximately 13 stitches per 10 cm before washing/wearing, but 12 stitches per 10 cm after washing/wearing.

Size Guide

The Wave Tee should have a positive ease of movement of 5-7 cm in relation to your chest measurement. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) fit a chest measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished shirt can be found on the front page. Measure yourself before you start knitting to find the size that fits you best. If your chest measurement (or the widest part of your body) measures 90 cm, you should choose size S. A shirt in size Size S has a chest circumference of 95 cm and in the example chosen would have a positive ease of 5 cm.

Gauge: 12 stitches x 22 rows stockinette stitch on 6 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm after washing and blocking

Recommended needles: 6 mm circular knitting needles (40 cm, 60 and 80 or 100 cm), 6 mm double pointed needles (except for the sleeves knitted using the Magic Loop method)

Material: 250 (300) 300-350 (350) 350 (400) 400 (450) 450-500 (500) g Cotton Waves by Gepard Garn (50 g = 60 m) or Tykk Line by Sandnes Garn (50 g = 60 m)

If you want long sleeves, add about 200 g of yarn.
