tenemoll for wool, merino and cashmere is perfect for caring for wool fibres because it contains lanolin. The moisturising components of lanolin are ideal for caring for wool fibres as they keep the fibres fluffy. This is because wool fibres lose some of their protective wool grease with every wash. In nature, lanolin protects the wool and skin of cashmere goats from the effects of the climate and nature. By adding a little lanolin back in with every wash using tenemoll, the wool fibres stay fluffy for longer.
Raw lanolin accounts for about 5 to 25% of the weight of freshly shorn wool. The wool of a merino sheep produces about 250–300 ml of recoverable wool grease. Lanolin is removed by washing the wool in hot water with a special wool detergent to remove dirt, wool grease (raw lanolin), sweat salts and anything else that sticks to the wool. During this washing process, the wool grease is continuously removed by centrifugal separators, which concentrate it into a waxy substance that melts at approximately 38 °C.

- It contains no chlorine, bleach, optical brighteners, fabric softeners or formaldehyde.
- It contains no synthetic dyes.
- As a concentrate, it is very economical to use: the less detergent we use, the better for the environment!
