We are delighted that we are working in cooperation with the Cine City Verden the first
“Nitiknitti Knit & Cinema” event
bring into being!
Recently, knitting communities have been appearing on social media channels, mostly in Scandinavian cinemas, and we at Nitiknitti have marveled at this movement with great interest! How often have I regretted not being able to unpack my knitting in the dark cinema!

Now the trend is coming to Germany and more and more people are joining in!
My team then kept lovingly pushing me towards them…
"Niti, come on, we can get this organized! This would be just the thing for us and our knitting-mad community!"
It didn't take much persuasion, and I contacted my longtime friend Kim Müscher from the Verden cinema Cine City and asked her to make this Knit & Cinema evening possible for us. Et voilà, here we are!
We're starting with a hall with 80 seats...and if that's not enough, we have larger halls and other dates available!
The ticket price includes the film and a non-alcoholic drink.
After purchase you will receive an email with your ticket , which you can download to your mobile phone or bring with you printed out.
We start with a get together at 5:00 PM and welcome all guests in the foyer for a chat and a visit to our Nitiknitti booth. We can't bring the entire booth with you, but you'll be able to explore a select selection and shop directly. Of course, everyone is welcome to bring their chosen project—whatever you're currently knitting and want to knit together while watching the film. We'll also be offering free patterns from the Nitiknitti world for you to take home.
The lighting won't be on full during the film, but it will be enough so we can easily see our stitches. I'll bring my neck reading lamp; I find it incredibly useful and it makes knitting so much easier. I'll get some of them, which you can purchase on-site.
We're currently still gathering ideas for the film. If you're interested in "buying a pig in a poke" and are certain you won't want to miss this event under any circumstances, then book "blind" now. If you want to wait until we've decided on the film, it won't be long now, and I'll be able to announce it here. Stay tuned!
It will definitely be a feel-good film with class!
Your Anita
PS Of course all interested parties Very welcome, even without knitting!
