I'm Anita Freitag-Meyer, 56 years old, a third-generation biscuit manufacturer, and managing director of our family business, the Hans Freitag Group in Lower Saxony, for over 35 years. Outside of my job, I love all things creative – especially knitting. During the pandemic, I discovered finger knitting and launched "Nitiknitti." What started with a few Instagram posts quickly became a true labor of love: I've now given over 200 workshops and inspired more than 2,000 women to try chunky knitting.
Closeness, exchange, joy and friendship, women's empowerment, inspiration, creativity and generosity – these are the values that define our label Nitiknitti and that we want to make tangible when you interact with us.
Passion became teamwork
My name is Bianca – and since Anita introduced Nitiknitti to my life, everything has become a little more colorful. My first workshop in March 2022 was my third ever. Who would have thought what would develop from there? In the fall, Niti responded to a call on Instagram – she was looking for support. I was on vacation and knew immediately: This is what I want to do! Today, I've been a full-time member of the team since May 2023 – with fantastic colleagues who have long since become friends. Whether at the workshop, open house, or on the Nitiknitti mobile: I love the exchange with you and look forward to everything that's to come!
Connected from the start
My name is Ute, 61, and I have a grown-up daughter – and I've officially been part of the Nitiknitti team since January 2024. However, thanks to my long-standing friendship with "my" Niti, I've felt a connection for much longer. I love fashion, consulting, and beautiful details – after many years in purchasing and sales, I'm now able to contribute creatively to Nitiknitti. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, doing some sports, and socializing with friends. And of course: I knit! I'm looking forward to spending time together – and to sharing my passion with you.
From fashion to stitch – with heart and style.
I'm Ines, 51 years old, live with my family in Bremen, and have been part of Nitiknitti since the end of 2024 – thanks to my dear friend Jessica, with whom I worked in the fashion industry for many years. As a designer and buyer, my previous job allowed me to travel the world, meet creative people, and surround myself with beautiful things. That's exactly what I love about Nitiknitti: the variety of high-quality yarns, the creative atmosphere, and, above all, the welcoming team. Together with Anita and the fantastic community, every day here is simply a joy – thank you for letting me be a part of it!
Creative, warm, right in the middle – my path to Nitiknitti.
I'm Cindy, 24 years old, and part of the Nitiknitti team since November 2024 – thanks to Anna, Anita's daughter, who introduced me to the label. When I'm not processing your orders or taking product photos, I'm with my horses and goats in the stable. I've always been creative – especially painting – and now I'm discovering knitting. My first project: a scarf for my dog, Franklin. For me, Nitiknitti is a place full of inspiration, community, and new ideas – the journey continues – and I look forward to every step.
From part-time job to creative hobby
I'm Sandra, 50, a mother of two boys, and I work full-time at Sparkasse. My friend Bianca introduced me to Nitiknitti – and I've been part of the team since January 2023. I used to have nothing to do with knitting, but the NK community immediately captivated me. Today, I love my creative hobby (even though my husband chuckles about the many bags in the house). In my free time, I enjoy sports, read a lot, and often visit the Weser Stadium. I'm happy to help you with your selection!
Stylish, handmade, from the heart.
I'm Jessica, 47 years old, and live with my family and my animals in Fischerhude near Bremen. Before founding my label Louisa Zoe in 2019, I worked for more than 20 years in the fashion industry as a designer for brands such as Hugo Boss, JOOP, Calvin Klein, and Tommy Hilfiger. In my factory in Fischerhude, I craft exclusive dog leashes, collars, and accessories such as belts and bracelets made of leather and paracord. For Nitiknitti, I make bag straps and handles that make your beautiful bags even more unique. I've been delighted to be part of the Nitiknitti team since March 2024 – the exchange with Anita, my colleagues, and you inspires me time and again!
From the biscuit factory to cashmere – Rita’s path to Nitiknitti
My name is Rita, I'm 66 years old, and I've lived with my husband in beautiful Hohenaverbergen for 40 years. From 1999 until my retirement, I worked for Anita in her biscuit factory and witnessed the development of Nitiknitti.
Knitting has been my great passion for many years. When a part-time position became available last year, I applied immediately. I especially love wrapping the soft cashmere yarn and being inspired by the many colors in the warehouse.
At home, I also knit accessories for my colleagues and our photo shoots. This job is very special to me, and I hope our yarn brings you as much joy as it does me.

I'm Annika – passionately creative, whether in my own beauty salon, FINEST BEAUTY, in Kirchlinteln, offering hairstyling, makeup, and permanent makeup, or now as part of the Nitiknitti team. A friend introduced me to their beautiful chunky knit handbags, and I was immediately captivated. Creative work and connecting with people are a daily part of my life – so I'm thrilled to now be able to contribute this to Nitiknitti. Besides my salon, I support the team here with bookkeeping and am happy to step in flexibly in other areas as well. I feel very much at home and am delighted to be part of this special community
