Cashmere Air

This lightweight, voluminous cashmere yarn boasts a fabulously even knit, is incredibly soft, and a dream to work with. The fine material is obtained from the undercoat of the cashmere goat. The polyamide content provides fluffiness and elasticity.

25g / 85 linear meters 88% cashmere / 12% polyamide

Needle size 5.5-6mm Gauge: 20 stitches x 31 rows = 10x10cm

We also recommend needle sizes 7mm and 8mm for this elastic yarn and have achieved very beautiful results with them. Cashmere AIR offers a very wide range of uses.

The triangular shawl was knitted from 8 balls of Royal yarn using 8mm needles. Only knit stitches were used in rows, with increases in the first stitch of each row (knit through the back loop). If you want to crochet a wavy edge to the shawl, use a slightly smaller crochet hook (size 6) and crochet around the shawl as follows: always work two single crochet stitches and then the third as a picot edge. To do this, first make one single crochet stitch, then chain 3, and crochet another single crochet stitch into the first stitch.

Use wool detergent (just a small amount), wash alone and not in a bag in the washing machine on the WOOL cycle or by hand, and very important: wash in COLD.
